Cindy Salemi started working with Family Focused Legal Solutions in June of 2021. Cindy is a native New Yorker. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and moved to New Jersey in January of 2015.

At the beginning of 2019, Cindy separated from her husband. It was at that time that Cindy decided she wanted to work in family law. She understands the process and the emotions people go through while getting divorced. She loves to be there for those who sometimes need some guidance or even just someone to talk to who understands what they are going through. Cindy’s goal is to help your case go as smoothly as possible and enjoys being there to help in any way she can. Prior to finding her passion in family law, she worked in various other legal fields including real estate, foreclosure and personal injury.

Responsibilities at Family Focused Legal Solutions

As a Case Manager, Cindy is a liaison between the clients, attorneys, adversaries’ offices and courthouses. She makes sure that everything is exactly where it should be, that every deadline is met, that every case is running smoothly and that every client (and attorney for that matter) keeps moving forward calmly and productively. In that regard, Cindy is most loved by our clients for her role as the calm voice on the other end of the phone when they anxiously call the firm for the first time — as well as being the constant friend throughout the case until the client is ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives.

Education

Cindy attended Kingsborough Community College and received an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts.

Life Outside the Office

Cindy loves to spend time with her family as often as she can. She travels to New York at least once a month and on holidays and birthdays to see them. She has two adorable nephews who are 10 and 5. She also has a beautiful, sweet pea of a niece who she can’t wait to spoil. In her spare time, she loves listening to all types of music, reading and binge-watching the “must see” shows that friends and family recommend and pretty much any medical/police/fire department shows. Her ULTIMATE favorite shows, though, are the singing competitions like The Voice and American Idol. She also loves to cook and is always up for a new recipe to try out and master — especially a fancy Italian dish, since she loves to feed people.
