Jane B. Simpson, Esq. joined the firm in 2023 after building her family law career over many years. She represents clients in all stages of family law litigation and settlement negotiations. She is also a family law mediator, a Collaborative Divorce attorney, and a Parent Coordinator. She is appointed by the Court as a Guardian ad Litem.

Jane has been practicing family law for more than 28 years. She is a certified mediator and volunteers as a Family Law Early Settlement Panelist in Morris County. She is a member of the Barry I. Croland Inn of Court, which is the first “teaching Inn” in the United States. Prior to transferring her legal practice to Family Focused Legal Solutions, Jane was a named partner at a Morris County boutique law firm. She is recognized for her ability to resolve cases without the necessity of lengthy and costly litigation. Her success is confirmed by the number of referrals not only from her former clients, but also adversarial parties, colleagues, and therapists who appreciate her settlement skills that help alleviate some of the pain of divorce for the parties and their children. Jane’s parents were not divorced, but she lost her father when she was 23 years old, which resulted in her compassion and sympathy for families in crisis. Jane is divorced and remarried. She co-parents her two children with her ex-husband without the rancor often visited on divorcing parties and their children. If a case must proceed to trial, Family Focused Legal Solutions is recognized as a highly regarded litigation firm.

Jane has been recognized by Avvo, an independent legal organization. Her profile, references, peer endorsements, awards and recognitions, testimonials, and additional background information can be viewed here.

Frank is also a family lawyer who was the recipient of the Tischler Award, which is the highest award given to family law practitioners by the New Jersey State Bar Association.
