Jessica Donnenberg

Jessica Donnenberg started working with Family Focused Legal Solutions in December of 2023. Jessica grew up in a small town in Hunterdon County and has lived in New Jersey her entire life.

Before entering the field of Family Law, Jessica spent 7 years working in Early Childhood Development, particularly leading the Infant and Toddler rooms in a private preschool and nannying for families. She has independently cared for babies and children alike, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment throughout the preschool. Jessica lead activities carefully curated to promote the physical, mental, and social development of each child all while managing communication with the parents/guardians. Jessica enjoys helping parents set themselves and their children up for success. She believes that health and happiness begin in the home and strives to help others as much as she can to cultivate the environment necessary to thrive.

Responsibilities at Family Focused Legal Solutions

As the Client Intake Assistant, Jessica is the welcoming voice behind the phone, creating a rapport with potential clients when they first call the office. She will answer questions and provide resources to determine if our firm is a good match to meet their needs and begin the process of forging the firm/client relationship. Jessica is responsible for gathering pertinent information, scheduling the consultations, and assisting the client with any necessary paperwork.

Education

Jessica attended Fairleigh Dickinson University before transferring to Capella University, where she is currently finishing her studies for her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Life Outside the Office

When Jessica is not at work, she enjoys reading and browsing local bookstores. She has an interest in music and loves to challenge herself to learn new instruments (with varying levels of success). Jessica has also been known to flip a kayak or two when the weather is warm. Her partner in crime is her puppy, Einstein, who brings chaos and joy everywhere he goes.

• Jessica is a proud member of Psi Chi, the national honors society for Psychology.
• Jessica once challenged herself to read 100 books in 1 year and surpassed that goal, reaching 114 books read in 1 year. The next goal is 115!
• In 2023, Jessica had the privilege of hugging her celebrity crush, Jensen Ackles, who played Dean Winchester in the TV series Supernatural.
• Jessica has an intense fear of heights and, as luck would have it, has gotten stuck at the top of a Ferris Wheel and upside down on a circular coaster ride.
