Rebecca Lerman (Becca) started working with Ruvolo Law Group in September of 2020. She grew up in Hopatcong and has lived in northern New Jersey her entire life. Before changing her career path to work in Family Law, Rebecca spent 12 years working in Early Childhood Child Development, teaching both Preschool and Prekindergarten; developing curricula, organizing, and leading activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development. Rebecca is great at staying calm in stressful situations and enjoys helping others as much as she can. Although Rebecca does not yet have any children of her own, she is the proud mom of two fur babies (cats).

Responsibilities at RLG

As the Client Intake Specialist, Rebecca is the friendly voice on the other end of the line when potential clients first call. She will answer any questions they may have, determine if our firm is a good match to meet their needs, and begin the process of forging the firm/client relationship. Rebecca is in charge of gathering pertinent information, scheduling the consultations, and assisting the clients with any necessary paperwork.

Education

Rebecca attended West Virginia University and received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Life Outside the Office

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves nature and the outdoors and is happiest when she is fishing with her dad. On any given night, you can find Rebecca line dancing with her friends or watching some ridiculous reality show on TV. She is an avid NASCAR fan and never misses going to the Pocono races.

You May Not Know

  • Before deciding to get her degree in Psychology, Rebecca wanted to be an actress and attended school for theater.
  • Rebecca was the Senior NJTA Baton Twirling State Champion in 2001 and qualified for the Junior Olympics the same year.
  • Because she has never had a passport, Rebecca has never been out of the country (except once to Canada before you needed a passport to travel there.
  • Rebecca prefers owning/driving vehicles with a manual transmission and is saddened that they are so hard to come across these days in new cars.
  • Between the months of February and November, Rebecca’s Sundays are dedicated to NASCAR.
